Please note: delivery to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and remote UK postcodes is available at an additional cost. Small items to Northern Ireland are charged at £14.95; furniture and remote-area orders are price on application.

General dispatch times

We aim to dispatch all in-stock items to UK addresses within 1–3 working days. As a small independent business, some products are available on a pre-order basis, and not every item is held in stock at all times. Estimated lead times are shown on individual product pages.

Furniture and fragile items may take a little longer to arrive, as these require delivery via specialist couriers. During busy periods such as sales or promotions, dispatch times may be slightly extended.

In line with our commitment to sustainability, we may consolidate your order into a single delivery where possible, unless you request otherwise.

Changing your delivery address

If you need to update your shipping address after dispatch, a courier administration fee of £5.50 will apply. For any special delivery requests, please contact us at customerservice@charlestedhome.co.uk.

Furniture deliveries

  • All furniture orders are delivered by a specialist courier.
  • You'll be contacted directly to arrange a convenient delivery date.
  • While we can't guarantee specific time slots, the courier will provide an estimated arrival time on the day of delivery.

Before placing a furniture order, please ensure that your item can be safely delivered into your home, taking into account doorways, staircases and access routes.

If delivery is unsuccessful due to access issues and the item must be returned, a restocking fee may apply and the original delivery charge will be deducted from your refund. If delivery cannot be completed after multiple attempts, an additional redelivery fee will also apply.

Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland & remote postcodes

We do deliver to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and remote UK postcodes. Small and standard items to Northern Ireland are charged at a flat £14.95. Furniture to Northern Ireland, all Republic of Ireland orders and remote-area deliveries are price on application, varying depending on the size, weight and fragility of your order.

We can provide a quote prior to purchase on request, or our team will contact you after ordering to confirm the additional cost. If you choose not to proceed once the delivery cost has been confirmed, your order will be cancelled and refunded in full.

Republic of Ireland customers: please be aware that customs charges, import duties and/or taxes may apply to your order upon arrival. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our delivery price.

Click & Collect

We do not currently offer a Click & Collect service for furniture orders.

International furniture delivery

We currently deliver furniture within mainland UK only. If you wish to arrange your own courier for overseas delivery, you're welcome to do so. Please note that once the item leaves our care, we cannot accept responsibility for any damage or loss during transit.
