Bringing Autumn Into Your Home

As the days shorten, the rooms we spend time in start to matter more. The CharlesTed Home Autumn Collection is designed for exactly that shift, bringing together pieces that add warmth and depth without overwhelming a space. Think grounded colour, natural materials and texture you want to reach out and touch, chosen to sit comfortably alongside the furniture you already love.

The Autumn Colour Palette

Our autumn edit draws on the colours of the season itself. Deep ochre, burnt orange and rich rust sit beside softer neutrals, warm stone and natural wood tones. Used together, they create a relaxed, layered feel. If you prefer a quieter look, keep larger pieces neutral and introduce seasonal colour through cushions, throws and smaller accents that can be swapped as the months change.

Layering Texture for Warmth

Texture is what turns a room from simply styled to genuinely cosy. Pair chunky knit throws with smooth linen, add rattan or weathered wood for contrast, and finish with ceramics and glassware in earthy glazes. On the dining table, a simple runner, a few candles and a seasonal centrepiece are enough to set the scene for long autumn suppers with family and friends.

Styling Tips for the Cooler Months

Start with one room and build gradually. In the living room, a textured throw over the arm of a sofa and a cluster of cushions in two or three tones instantly softens the space. Hallways and console tables suit a statement vase or faux foliage in autumnal shades, creating a welcoming first impression. Keep lighting low and warm, and let natural finishes do the rest.
