Will it fit? The bottle stands 27cm tall and the 60cm reeds add real height, so place it on a sturdy console, chest of drawers or wide shelf with clear space above, rather than a narrow bedside.

A soft, calming lavender fragrance, gentle and familiar, suited to bedrooms, bathrooms and quiet spaces.

Presented in a minimal square glass bottle with a natural wooden cap, and gift boxed for giving as well as keeping. The large volume and long reeds suit generous rooms.

Use more reeds for a stronger scent and fewer for a softer one, turning them once a week to refresh. At 4.14kg, lift it with both hands.

Place on a stable surface away from sunlight, radiators and draughts, and keep out of reach of children and pets. Diffuser oil can mark wood and painted finishes, so wipe any spills straight away.

Set it on a bedroom chest of drawers, a dressing table or a wide bathroom shelf for a calm, spa like feel. Stand it on a tray with a candle and folded linen for a restful vignette.

A lovely gift for anyone who loves lavender, ready to give in its box.
