The Kendal Collection
Bayur Wood · 7 pieces designed to sit together
A dressing table that is just as happy as a desk
Warm, fine-grained solid Bayur wood on slender tapered legs, with a raised gallery rail that keeps perfume bottles and treasures in their place. Three drawers hold the everyday, and at 120cm wide it works as a dressing table, a writing desk or a hallway console. Part of our bedroom collection.
Dimensions
Will it fit? At 41cm deep it is slim enough for a hallway, a bedroom wall or a study alcove.
Materials and finish
Solid Bayur wood in a warm sandy tone, with the fine grain and natural warmth shared across the Kendal collection.
A raised gallery rail runs around the top edge, a detail borrowed from classic dressing table design. Two stretchers cross diagonally between the four tapered legs, forming an X at the base that adds structural rigidity across the full width.
Each drawer has an antique drop-ring pull in a dark antique finish, the same hardware used on the Kendal Chest of Drawers and Kendal Desk.
Styling and pairs well with
In a bedroom, add a mirror from our mirrors collection above it. In a hallway, finish it with a lamp from our table lamps and a vase from pots and vases.
It sits comfortably in classic, transitional, farmhouse, coastal, contemporary and Scandi rooms, and pairs with the Kendal Chest of Drawers and Kendal Desk.

Questions
Can I use it as a desk?
Yes. The 120cm top and three drawers make it a practical writing desk, with room for stationery and essentials in the drawers.
What is the gallery rail for?
The raised rail around the top edge stops perfume bottles, jewellery and small accessories from sliding off, and gives the piece its distinctive outline.
Does it match other Kendal pieces?
Yes. It shares the same solid Bayur wood and antique drop-ring pulls as the Kendal Chest of Drawers and Kendal Desk.
How heavy is it?
It weighs 26kg, so two people are best for moving it into place.
