Will they fit? Both are generously wide, so measure your floor space. The large holds logs, a stack of throws or a potted tree around 50cm across. The small suits toys, laundry or a smaller plant, and nests inside the large for storage.

Handwoven in Indonesia from natural banana fibre, in warm tones ranging from pale straw to soft chestnut, over a concealed iron frame that holds the scalloped cloud shape as they are filled. Rolled handles sit on opposite sides.

As handwoven pieces, weave, tone and the set of the scallops vary slightly from basket to basket.

Vacuum with a soft brush attachment, or wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry straight away. Never soak or machine wash. For indoor use only. A few loose strands in the early weeks are normal, so trim rather than pull.

If storing logs, keep the basket a safe distance from open fires and stoves, and never place hot ash or embers inside. As a plant cover, use a waterproof liner or saucer and never plant directly into the weave. Lift with both handles when full.

Set the pair side by side with the small slightly forward, beside a sofa for rolled throws, or in a hallway for everyday clutter. Drop a potted tree into the large one, still in its nursery pot, for an instant finished look.

Pair with our potted plants and trees and pots and vases.

Is this a set of two?

Yes. Both baskets are included, and the smaller nests inside the larger.

Can I use one for logs?

Yes. Keep it a safe distance from open fires and stoves, and never put hot ash or embers inside.

Can I plant directly into it?

No. Use it as a cover for a potted plant, with a waterproof liner or saucer underneath.

Can I use them outside?

No. They are designed for indoor use, as damp will damage the fibre.
