It's tall enough to hold a console or shelf on its own, and distinctive enough to anchor a mantel grouping.

Handcrafted porcelain in classic blue and white, decorated with elephant and floral motifs in the chinoiserie tradition that spread from Chinese export porcelain to European makers from Delft to Dresden.

The matching lid gives it a complete, sculptural presence.

It's made for decorative use and isn't suitable for direct water contact. For fresh flowers or plants, place a small vessel inside. Dust with a soft dry cloth.

Set it on a console or sideboard, or pair two either end of a mantel for classic symmetry. Blue and white is a natural companion to crisp linens, brass and warm timber.

It suits traditional, Hamptons and eclectic rooms, and it's beautiful against a deep painted wall.
