Will it suit my table? It pairs well with a table of 75cm to 79cm. Allow 55cm to 60cm of table edge per chair, so a 180cm table takes three per side, and a 240cm table seats eight.

Limed (cerused) oak, with pale pigment worked into the grain so the timber shows through rather than being painted over. A carved, scalloped back rail frames an open woven cane panel that flexes gently as you lean.

The padded natural linen seat is breathable, softly textured and comfortable through a long meal.

Cane. Dust with a soft dry brush. Never soak it or use a wet cloth, which can slacken and split the weave. Keep it away from radiators.

Linen seat. Vacuum with an upholstery attachment and blot spills straight away, never rubbing. Pale linen shows marks more readily than darker fabric.

What to expect. Cane relaxes very slightly with use, and oak grain varies between chairs. Order a set together so they come from the same batch.
