The exterior is handwoven from 100% natural water hyacinth, a fast-growing aquatic plant used without chemical treatment. The weave is tight and smooth to the touch, in warm honey tones that sit easily beside linen and cotton.

Beneath the weave, a solid mahogany frame gives the piece its strength and permanence. As a handcrafted natural material, the texture and tone vary a little from piece to piece, so each one is individual.

Blot spills straight away rather than rubbing. For everyday care, wipe with a damp cloth using water only, and use a specialist natural fibre cleaner for stubborn marks.

Keep it away from prolonged moisture, such as damp walls or steamy rooms. Natural variation in the weave is part of its character, not a flaw.
