Will it fit? The frame needs a floor space of 160 by 209cm. Allow around 60cm either side for bedsides and 70cm at the foot to walk around comfortably. The 131cm headboard sits well below most ceiling heights and window sills behind it.

The frame is bayur wood with plywood elements, finished in a soft, weathered lime wash that lets the grain show through, so each bed carries its own subtle variation in tone.

The arched headboard is panelled in natural woven cane within a moulded surround and topped with carved ball finials. Turned legs taper to a slim foot, lifting the frame so it reads light rather than bulky.

Dust the frame with a soft, dry cloth and use a soft brush to lift dust from the cane weave. Avoid harsh chemicals and excess water.

For indoor use. Keep away from radiators and prolonged direct sunlight to protect the timber and cane.

What size mattress does it take?

A standard UK king mattress, 150 × 200cm, sold separately.

Does it come with a slatted base?

Yes. A wooden slatted base is included, so you simply add your mattress.

What is the headboard made from?

Natural woven cane set within a moulded, limed bayur wood surround, topped with carved ball finials.

Why does the wood finish vary?

The lime wash lets the natural grain show through, so tone and grain vary a little from bed to bed.
