Can I put food directly on it?
The smooth travertine top is well suited to serving. As travertine is a natural, porous stone, we'd suggest keeping strongly coloured or oily foods on paper or leaves, wiping up spills promptly, and avoiding harsh or acidic cleaners to keep the surface at its best.
How do I care for it?
Wipe the stone with a soft, damp cloth and dry it afterwards, avoiding abrasive or acidic cleaning products. Keep the wooden feet dry. With a little care, the natural stone will only develop more character over time.
