The bowls you reach for every day

Four stoneware bowls with a gently organic outline and a soft, neutral hand-applied glaze, each one subtly its own. They are perfect for a bowl of pasta on a Friday night, a warming soup, or dressed vegetables set in the middle of a long table. Part of our Wycliffe crockery range, made to be used and loved.

The everyday size. At 19cm, they suit pasta, grain bowls, soup, salad, cereal and puddings, and a bowl sits neatly within the 27cm Wycliffe dinner plate. They stack neatly for storage or display.

Materials and finish

Glazed stoneware with a satisfying weight, and an outline that is gently organic rather than perfectly round.

Neutral hand-applied glaze, the same as the rest of the Wycliffe range. Tone, sheen and rim vary subtly from bowl to bowl.

The glazed surface is food safe and smooth, so it won't absorb oils, colours or odours.

Care

Dishwasher and microwave safe, made for everyday use. Avoid abrasive scourers, and avoid sudden temperature changes, such as taking a bowl straight from the fridge into a hot oven.

Styling and pairs well with

Layer a bowl on a Wycliffe dinner plate for a considered place setting, or stack them on an open kitchen shelf. Browse the matching plates in our crockery collection, or mix with our bowls and dishes.

They suit modern rustic, wabi-sabi, Scandi, farmhouse and minimal kitchens, alongside linen napkins and timber boards.

Questions
How many are in the set?
Four bowls, supplied as a set.
Are they dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes, both.
Do they match the Wycliffe plates?
Yes. They share the same stoneware, outline and glaze as the dinner and side plates.
Will each bowl look the same?
No. The glaze is applied by hand, so each has subtle variations in tone and sheen.
