Will it fit? The 55cm shade is generous, so allow a surface around 50cm deep or more to avoid overhang. It suits a console, sideboard or large side table best, and may overwhelm a compact bedside. At 13.2kg, place it on a sturdy surface.

The rounded glass base is etched across its full surface with a fine cross hatch pattern that adds depth and catches the light as you move around it, in a warm taupe greige tone.

A substantial brushed brass collar marks the transition to the wide tapered natural linen shade, which diffuses a broad, even pool of warm light.

Wipe the glass with a soft, barely damp cloth and dry it. Dust the brass with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding metal polish. Brush the shade gently and never use water on the linen.

For indoor use only. Always switch off, unplug and let the bulb cool before cleaning or changing it. Keep to the 40W maximum; a warm toned LED suits it best. Lift with two hands.

Set it on a piece from our consoles and sideboards collection beneath a piece from our mirrors collection, with a single sculptural vessel from our pots and vases collection alongside.

Suits classic, modern, transitional, glamorous, contemporary and coastal interiors.
