Will it fit? At 34cm across it needs a wider run of wall than a single fitting, so measure beside door frames and narrow piers. In a hallway, hang the centre at around 150 to 165cm. Above a headboard, centre it on the bed at roughly 150 to 160cm, above the pillow line. On a chimney breast, allow 20 to 30cm above the mantel.

The rubbed brass finish is warmer than polished and softer than aged, with gentle variation across the surface, and it will slowly develop a natural patina over time.

Two white tapered fabric shades soften the bulbs and warm the tone of the light. Small variations in the brass are part of the finish, not faults.

Wipe the brass with a dry, lint free cloth and never use brass polish or abrasive cleaners, which strip the finish. Dust the shades with a soft brush or lint roller and never use water on the fabric.

This is a hardwired fitting and must be installed by a qualified electrician in line with current regulations. For dry interior rooms only, not bathroom zones or outdoors. Check fixings are snug once a year.

What bulbs does it take?

Two E14 small screw bulbs, one per shade, not included. Use matching warm white bulbs, around 2400K to 2700K.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired and should be installed by a qualified electrician. The mounting plate is supplied.

Do both shades switch together?

Yes. Both run from the single circuit the fitting is wired to.

Should I choose the double or the single?

Choose the double for one fixing point or a wide feature such as a headboard. Choose a pair of singles to spread light across two walls or a narrow pier.
