The sculptural oak surround is the piece's signature — a warm, organic sweep that frames the linen like a headboard within a headboard, softening every line in the room. The neutral linen upholstery keeps it light and versatile, the low upholstered base grounds it, and the whole silhouette reads as considered, tactile and unhurried. The Wycombe comes in King and Super King. The King measures 173cm wide, 220cm deep and 129cm tall; the Super King measures 203cm wide, 220cm deep and 129cm tall. Both share the same headboard height and low, upholstered base.
What's it made from?
The bed has a curved solid oak and pine wood frame with a natural linen-upholstered headboard and base. The combination of warm timber and soft linen gives it its organic, tactile character.
Does it take a standard mattress, and is there storage underneath?
Yes — it takes a standard King or Super King mattress on the sprung slatted base. The base sits 34cm high with a 2cm floor clearance, so it's designed as a low, upholstered bed rather than for underbed storage.
How do I care for it?
Vacuum the linen upholstery gently on a low setting and spot-clean as needed with a soft, damp cloth. Dust the oak frame with a soft, dry cloth, and keep the bed out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect both the timber and the fabric.
