The Bali Rattan Table Lamp

Will it fit? This is a tall lamp, at its best on a console, sideboard or generous side table at least 45cm deep. On a 90cm console the top of the shade reaches around 174cm, so check for pendants or shelves above. On a bedside, it suits a lower table in a larger bedroom.

A natural rattan base, handwoven over a gently curved profile, that catches light across its weave and looks beautiful switched on or off. The linen drum shade softens and warms the light as it passes through.

As a handwoven natural fibre, weave and tone vary slightly from piece to piece. If buying a pair, order them together.

Always switch off and let the bulb cool before cleaning. Dust the rattan with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment on low, and the shade with a soft brush or lint roller. Never use water on either. Trim any loose strands with scissors rather than pulling.

For indoor dry rooms only, as humidity softens natural fibre. Direct sunlight will gradually lighten the rattan.

Place a matching pair at either end of a long console, or one beside a sofa with a glazed vase and a stack of books. It loves warm neutrals, clay and terracotta, and looks striking against olive or charcoal walls. Choose a warm 2700K bulb, and matching bulbs if you buy two.

Yes. The wide shade casts a generous pool of light. Choose a slightly brighter warm bulb for reading.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is designed for dry indoor rooms only.
