Linen and Old Pine · 4 pieces designed to sit together
The Salcombe Chest of Drawers
Weathered old pine and arched woven rattan drawer fronts bring a relaxed, driftwood warmth to the bedroom. Two short drawers sit over two deep ones, with room for everything from socks to jumpers and bedlinen, beneath a wide top made for a mirror, a lamp and a few favourite things. Dimensions
Will it fit? At 115cm wide and 50cm deep it makes a real feature of a bedroom wall, so allow room in front for the deep drawers to open fully. The 88cm height is comfortable for a mirror or lamp on top.
Materials and finish
The frame is old pine, dry brushed to a soft, weathered grey brown that lets the natural grain show through. Because the finish is applied to natural timber, tone and grain vary a little from piece to piece.
Each drawer front is panelled in natural woven rattan beneath a gently arched surround and finished with dark metal drop handles. A moulded cornice and solid plinth base complete the look, while the open weave keeps a generous piece feeling light.
Care
Dust with a soft, dry cloth and use a soft brush to lift dust from the rattan weave. Wipe spills straight away and use coasters and mats under drinks and lamps.
For indoor use. Keep away from radiators, damp and prolonged direct sunlight to protect the timber and rattan.

Questions
How many drawers does it have?
Four in total: two shorter drawers across the top for socks and accessories, over two deep, full width drawers for folded clothes, jumpers and bedlinen.
What are the drawer fronts made from?
Natural woven rattan panels set within arched surrounds on an old pine frame, with dark metal drop handles.
Why does the wood finish vary?
The weathered finish lets the natural grain of the pine show through, so tone and grain differ slightly on every piece.
Is it part of a matching range?
Yes. The Salcombe collection also includes a three drawer bedside and a four door sideboard in the same weathered pine and rattan.
