Will it fit? At 108cm wide, it suits smaller dining rooms, hallways and living rooms where a full-length sideboard would overwhelm. Allow around 130cm of wall, and check the doors have room to swing open.

Bayur and Mindi wood frame, two complementary tropical hardwoods with warm, characterful grain.

Handwoven rattan door fronts let light play across the surface, giving a depth and movement a plain door cannot.

Black metal handles with rattan detailing carry the natural fibre into the hardware. Behind each door is a shelf for tableware, linens or everyday essentials.

Dust the rattan with a soft brush and the wood along the grain with a soft dry cloth. Never soak the rattan; a barely damp cloth on a mark, dried straight away, is enough. Use coasters on the top, and keep it away from radiators and damp.

Rattan and timber are natural materials, so tone and weave vary slightly from piece to piece.

Top it with a table lamp, a stack of books and a vase of foliage, with a round mirror above. Woven textures, linen and a jute rug complete the relaxed look.

It suits coastal, bohemian, farmhouse, Scandi and contemporary schemes. See the full rattan sideboards collection.
