Spot clean only. Vacuum on low suction without a rotating brush, which can pull at the fibres and fringe. Blot spills straight away with a dry cloth and a mild wool safe cleaner, never rubbing or soaking, as viscose can mark with water. Use a professional rug cleaner for deeper cleaning.

Like most wool blends it will shed a little when new, settling within the first few weeks. A rug pad underneath reduces movement and friction.
