The Oakridge Collection
Rustic Pine · 11 pieces designed to sit together
A chest with the bearing of architecture
Weathered pine with its rough-sawn grain left on show, framed by slim corner pilasters and a stepped plinth. Five drawers hold the everyday, from watches to winter knits, for a calm and orderly bedroom.
Dimensions
Will it fit? At 113 cm tall it sits comfortably beneath most windows and leaves room for a lamp or mirror above.
Materials and finish
Material: Solid pine and plywood.
Finish: A pale grey-taupe weathered limewash over a rough-sawn surface. The horizontal saw-cut texture is left visible rather than sanded smooth, so the limewash picks out the grain without filling it.
Frame: Slim pilasters run floor to top at each corner, finishing in subtle capital details, on a stepped moulded plinth base.
Hardware: Antique brass round knobs.
Drawers: Two small drawers at the top for jewellery, watches and small essentials, three deep wide drawers below for clothes, linen and folded storage.
Care
Suitable for indoor use. Dust with a soft dry cloth, following the direction of the grain.
The rough-sawn texture and weathered finish are part of the character, so expect natural variation in tone and grain from piece to piece.

Questions
Is the Oakridge made of oak?
No. Despite the name, the Oakridge is made from solid pine and plywood, finished in a weathered limewash.
How many drawers does it have?
Five, in the classic gentleman's chest layout: two small drawers at the top and three deep, wide drawers below.
Is the surface smooth?
The finish is deliberately rough-sawn, with the horizontal saw-cut texture left visible under the limewash. It has a tactile, reclaimed character rather than a polished one.
What are the handles made of?
Antique brass round knobs, slightly burnished, which give the pale timber a warm metallic note.
