Care and honest expectations
Cleaning. Dust along the grain with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly. Avoid silicone polishes and sprays.
Everyday use. Use mats under bottles and jars, and keep it away from radiators and prolonged direct sun.
What to expect. Grain, knots and tone vary from piece to piece, so every chest is entirely its own. Pine is a softwood and marks more readily than oak.
