Will it fit? As a tall portrait piece it suits a hallway, an entrance, a bedroom wall or the space above a console or sofa. Allow a wall at least 120cm wide. It shows best where light falls across it from the side, such as beside a window or between two wall lights.

The shapes are built up from the canvas in raised relief rather than printed, and the whole surface is finished in a soft matte off white. Slight variation in relief and texture is part of its character.

A slim natural wood frame keeps the focus on the relief and adds a gentle warmth to the white.

Dust gently with a soft, clean brush, working around the raised edges. Avoid water, cleaning sprays and damp areas, as it is for indoor use only.

Wall fixings are sold separately. At 4.1kg, choose a fixing suitable for your wall type and rated for the weight. Two people are recommended to position a piece of this size.

It suits minimalist, Japandi and Scandi rooms with limewashed walls, pale oak and linen. Hang it above a console from our console tables and sideboards collection with a pair of wall lights from our wall lights collection to bring out the shadows in the evening.

Add a stoneware vase from our pots and vases collection for a calm, tonal look.

Where does it look best?

Where light falls across it from the side, which brings out the shadows of the raised shapes.
