Alverton Beaded Dinner Plates, Set of 4

Will it fit? At 28cm these are a generous dinner size, so if you are used to a 26cm or 27cm plate, it is worth measuring your cupboard shelves and dishwasher rack.

Glazed ceramic in a clean white, edged with a raised beaded rim in the spirit of old pearlware. The beading catches soft shadow around the edge and adds detail without pattern or colour.

The smooth coupe shape has no flat rim, leaving plenty of room to plate properly, and the gently wavering outline gives each plate a made, rather than machine pressed, character.

Food safe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe. As with any glazed ceramic, avoid sudden temperature changes, and stack with a little care so the beaded rims aren't knocked together.

The outline is gently organic rather than perfectly circular, so the line of each rim differs slightly. That variation is part of their character.
