The Alverton is the white plate that isn't plain. Four generous 28cm ceramic dinner plates, glazed in a clean, even white, each edged with a close row of small raised beads running around a gently irregular rim. The beading is the whole design: a fine, tactile detail that catches shadow around the edge and gives the plate a quiet, traditional formality without adding pattern or colour. The surface beneath is smooth and coupe-shaped, with no flat rim to eat into the space, so there's plenty of room to plate properly. Food, dishwasher and microwave safe, so they're made for daily use rather than best behaviour.
