Glazed earthenware in a warm taupe that flatters food and sits comfortably with linen, wood and pale ceramics. A fine row of raised beads catches the light around every rim, defining the shape without adding pattern or colour.

The gently wavering, organic outline means no two plates sit quite the same way in a stack. Earthenware fires at a lower temperature than stoneware, giving the glaze a softer, warmer depth.

Food safe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe. Avoid sudden temperature changes and let hot pieces cool before rinsing under cold water. Earthenware is a little more porous than stoneware, so handle rims with care and dry pieces properly before stacking.

The line of each rim and the depth of glaze vary slightly from piece to piece, and glaze tone may differ very slightly between production batches.

Lay it on natural linen or bare timber with simple glassware and let the beaded rims do the work. Add a second set to extend the table to eight, and layer with serving pieces for a table that looks gathered over time.
