Will it fit? In a living room, choose a size that sits under at least the front legs of your sofa and chairs, leaving a band of floor showing around the edge.

Machine woven in Turkey from a blend of 70% space-dyed polyester and 30% polypropylene. Space dyeing gives each yarn several tones along its length, so the beige and honey palette reads as layered and softly variegated rather than flat. The 7mm pile is gently raised, giving a tactile surface with a subtle shimmering sheen.

Vacuum regularly on a low setting to lift dust from the pile. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, then spot clean with a little mild detergent and cool water, working from the outside in. Avoid rubbing or soaking the rug.

Rotate the rug every few months so it wears evenly, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to help protect the colour. A few loose fibres in the first weeks are normal and will settle with vacuuming.

Pair the beige and honey tones with a timber or stone coffee table and a softly upholstered accent chair, then repeat the palette in a few textured cushions to tie the room together.

Is it suitable for a busy room?

Yes. The polyester and polypropylene blend is a practical choice for living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan spaces that see everyday use.

How do I clean a spill?

Blot it straight away with a clean, dry cloth, then spot clean with a little mild detergent and cool water. Avoid rubbing, which can disturb the pile.

Will the colours match the photographs?

The yarns are space dyed, so tones shift gently across the rug and can look slightly different from screen to screen and in different light.

Do I need an underlay?

On hard floors we recommend a rug underlay to keep the rug in place and add a little extra cushioning underfoot.
