Will it fit? In a living room, choose a size that sits under at least the front legs of your sofa and chairs, leaving a band of floor showing around the edge.

Hand tufted in India from 100% wool in natural shades. The pile varies between 8mm and 14mm, so the soft lines of the design are sculpted into the surface, adding depth and texture. Pure wool is naturally resilient and a considered, sustainable choice for the home.

Vacuum regularly without a beater bar or on a suction only setting. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing, and for deeper marks we recommend a professional rug clean.

Rotate the rug every few months so it wears evenly, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight. Some initial shedding is completely normal with a new wool rug and will settle with regular vacuuming.

Its soft tones sit beautifully with natural materials: a limed oak coffee table, a boucle accent chair and a few linen and wool cushions in cream and taupe for a calm, layered look.

Will a wool rug shed?

Yes, a little at first. Shedding is natural with new wool rugs and reduces with regular vacuuming over the first few weeks.

Why does the pile height vary?

The pile is cut at different heights, between 8mm and 14mm, which sculpts the soft lines of the design into the surface for added texture.

Is wool a good choice for a family home?

Wool is naturally resilient and holds its shape well, which makes it a lovely, long lasting choice for living rooms and bedrooms.

Do I need a rug underlay?

On hard floors an underlay is recommended. It stops the rug from moving and helps protect the pile.
