Will it fit? At 110cm this is a statement stem rather than a posy. It suits a tall floor vase, a large stoneware jug or a hearth, where it has room to reach up and fan out. For a fuller look, group two or three stems together.

Lifelike faux oak leaves in warm golden and russet tones, each with the familiar lobed edge and fine vein detail, set along a natural looking branch with small acorns tucked between the leaves.

Because it is faux, it needs no water, never drops leaves on the floor and can be packed away and brought out again next autumn.

Dust now and then with a soft dry cloth or a hairdryer on a cool setting. Keep it indoors and away from water.

Like all faux foliage, colours can soften if left in strong direct sunlight for long periods, so a spot out of the full glare of a south facing window will keep it looking its best. Store it flat or upright in a box between seasons to keep the leaves in shape.

Stand a single stem in a tall jug on the hearth, or gather three in a large floor vase in the hallway for a generous autumn welcome. On a console or dining table, lay a few cut lengths along a runner with candles for a relaxed seasonal centrepiece.

Choose a tall vessel from our pots and vases, and add warm candlelight from our candles and diffusers.

Suits farmhouse, country cottage and woodland inspired interiors.

Is this sold as one stem?

Yes, the price is for a single stem. For a full floor vase, we suggest two or three.

How tall is it?

The stem stands 110cm tall, so it works best in a tall vase, a large jug or on the floor beside a fireplace.

Does it need any looking after?

Very little. No water, no trimming and no fallen leaves. Simply dust it now and then.

Can I use it outdoors?

It is designed for indoor use. Rain and strong sunlight would affect the colour and finish.
