Will it fit? For a mantel, allow roughly one and a half times the width you are dressing so the garland can swag rather than lie taut. One 180cm length suits most standard mantelpieces. The foliage is layered in staggered clusters along a fully wired core, so the length reads as one continuous, gathered garland. The needles vary in tone from deeper green through to a soft, dusty sage, with the berries tucked among the foliage rather than sitting on top.

Because it is wired throughout, it holds a deep swag across a mantel, winds tightly around a banister or lies flat down the centre of a table. Lengths join easily by twisting the wired ends together.

Dust gently with a soft brush or a hairdryer on a cool setting. It is designed for indoor use, as rain, frost and direct sun will dull the colour over time.

To store, coil it loosely rather than folding it, and keep it in a box or bag where nothing heavy can press the foliage flat. Fan the clusters out again when you unpack it.
