Solid cast iron, heavy enough to stay planted with a book on it, with crisp beaded detailing on both front legs and the back support.

The antique gold finish is warm and deliberately aged, with darker tones in the recesses. It reads as brass-like rather than bright gold. Two lipped rests at the front hold the base of your book or frame.

Cleaning. Dust with a soft dry cloth, and wipe kitchen splashes promptly. Avoid metal polish and abrasives, which lift the antiqued finish.
