Will it suit my bed? At 73cm it's a taller bedside, best beside a higher bed or deep mattress. Aim for the top to sit level with, or just above, your mattress.

Bayur wood and veneer, a fine-grained tropical hardwood with a warm tone between light oak and pale walnut, finished naturally to show the grain.

Panels of woven wicker cane add texture and artisan character, with antique-style metal ring pulls on each drawer.

Cleaning. Dust the wood along the grain with a soft dry cloth, and the cane with a soft brush. Keep the cane dry.

Everyday use. Use a coaster for drinks, and keep it away from radiators and strong sun.

What to expect. Bayur is a natural wood, so colour and grain vary from piece to piece.

A pair either side of the bed looks lovely, each with a lamp and a book. It also works as an accent table in a living room.

Coordinate it with the matching Kendal bed and chest of drawers from the Kendal collection for a warm, cohesive bedroom.
