Will it fit? At 72cm tall it pairs well with a bed that has a deeper mattress, keeping the top close to hand when you're lying down. Allow 56cm of width beside the bed, plus room in front for the drawers to open fully.

The frame is old pine, dry brushed to a soft, weathered grey brown that lets the natural grain show through. Because the finish is applied to natural timber, tone and grain vary a little from piece to piece.

Each drawer front is panelled in natural woven rattan within a moulded, arched surround and finished with a dark metal drop handle. A moulded plinth base and crisp cornice top give it the proportions of a proper piece of furniture.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and use a soft brush to lift dust from the rattan weave. Wipe spills straight away and use coasters under drinks and a mat under lamps.

For indoor use. Keep away from radiators, damp and prolonged direct sunlight to protect the timber and rattan.

Dress the top with a lamp from our lighting collection, a stack of books and one of our ceramic pots and vases. Coordinate the room with the matching Salcombe chest of drawers and Salcombe four door sideboard, or see the full Salcombe collection.

Suits coastal, country, farmhouse, modern rustic, boho and French country interiors.

How much storage does it have?

Three full width drawers for books, glasses, chargers and bedtime essentials, plus a generous top for a lamp and a glass of water.

What are the drawer fronts made from?

Natural woven rattan, set within arched surrounds on an old pine frame with dark metal drop handles.

Why does the wood finish vary?

The weathered finish lets the natural grain of the pine show through, so tone and grain differ slightly on every piece.

Is it part of a matching range?

Yes. The Salcombe collection also includes a chest of drawers and a four door sideboard in the same weathered pine and rattan.
