Will it fit? At only 41cm deep, it's shallower than most chests, so it suits a bedroom wall or hallway. Allow around 150cm of wall and 90cm of clear floor in front for the drawers.
Materials and finish
Reclaimed old fir, with plywood in the construction for stability. The grain is deeper and the tone richer than new timber, with natural knots and marks of age, so no two are the same.
A pale washed finish lets that character show while keeping the look light. Antique-style metal ring pulls nod to traditional farmhouse ironmongery.
Care and honest expectations
Cleaning. Dust along the grain with a soft dry cloth, and wipe spills at once with a barely damp cloth. Avoid silicone polishes and all-purpose sprays.
