Padstow Woven Jute Pouffe

Will it fit? At 45.7cm high it sits close to seat height, so it works as a footstool in front of a sofa or lounge chair and as an occasional seat for guests.

The top is handwoven in India from 70% jute and 30% cotton in striped natural tones, with a raw, characterful edge. The base is 100% cotton, and the removable cover is filled with polybeads.

As each pouffe is woven by hand, the stripes, tone and texture vary from one to the next.

Spot clean gently with a dry or lightly damp cloth and vacuum on a low setting. Avoid soaking, and keep away from damp, which can affect natural jute over time.

The cover is removable. Keep it closed when in use, as the polybead filling should be kept away from young children and pets. For indoor use.

Place it in front of a sofa or reading chair, or tuck it beside a bed. Set a tray on top for a casual evening, and layer with natural rugs, wooden furniture and warm, earthy tones.

Suits coastal, bohemian, organic modern, Scandinavian and modern rustic interiors. Ground it with a rug in natural fibres.
