The Mila's proportions are the result of considered design restraint — the legs are substantial enough to read as architectural columns rather than functional supports, and the top overhangs them with the generous thickness of old pine timber that carries its own character in every plank's grain. At 160cm wide and only two legs, the Mila has a lightness and openness across its length that a four-legged or solid-based console cannot achieve at this scale.
