Will it fit? Allow a wall of at least 180cm so the console has space either side. At only 35cm deep it sits neatly in a hallway or behind a sofa, and the 105cm between the legs leaves room for a pair of stools, baskets or a bench underneath.

The chunky frame and clean lines give it a relaxed, grounded look that suits farmhouse, rustic and pared back modern rooms.

Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills straight away with a slightly damp cloth, then dry. Use coasters and mats under drinks, lamps and vases, and avoid harsh cleaners and polishes.

Reclaimed oak will show knots, small splits, filled holes and colour variation, and it may respond slightly to changes in temperature and humidity. Keep it away from radiators and direct sunlight. At 65kg, please use two people to lift it, and never drag it across the floor.
