How many should I buy?

One stem makes a simple statement in a jug. For a mantel garland or a generous vase, three to five stems give a fuller, more natural look.

Can it go outside?

It is designed for indoor use, where it will keep its colour for many Christmases.

Will the berries fall off?

No. Unlike fresh holly, the berries stay in place, so there is nothing to sweep up.
