Canvas stretched over a pine frame, worked in overlapping blocks of deep charcoal, warm taupe, olive-brown and chalk white. The surface carries real texture, with paint laid thickly in places and dragged thin in others, catching side light and shifting through the day.

Dust gently with a soft, dry brush. Avoid water and cleaning sprays, and keep out of prolonged direct sunlight and damp rooms to protect the surface.

Hang it alone above a long sofa or sideboard, with warm wood, linen and stoneware around it. The neutral palette never fights a scheme, while the contrast gives it real presence. It suits contemporary, modern rustic, industrial, minimal and wabi-sabi interiors.
