What fits? The 14cm opening takes a full bunch as it comes, or a few structural stems. Aim for stems of around 30cm above the rim. It is heavy enough to stay steady when filled.

It is also available as a taller 28cm version in the same glass. The two together make a lovely pair.

100% glass, thick-walled and heavy for its size, giving the colour real depth.

Amber to clear ombré and vertical ribbing that refracts the colour differently along each channel, so it glows in daylight and deepens under lamplight.

Watertight and suitable for fresh flowers, dried stems or a pillar candle. The ombré sits slightly differently on each piece, and faint seams or tiny bubbles are natural in made glass.

Hand wash only, with warm soapy water and a bottle brush. For residue inside, swirl warm water with a spoonful of dry rice. Avoid sudden temperature changes, and lift it by the body rather than the rim, especially when full.

With fresh flowers, change the water every two days. If using a candle, choose one that sits below the rim and never leave it burning unattended.

Place it where light passes through, such as a windowsill or beside a table lamp. Use it as a hurricane with a pillar candle on the dining table, or fill it with green faux foliage.

Pair it with the 28cm tall vase on a woven tray, with something opaque among them.
