Amber Ombré Ribbed Vase, Tall

What fits? The 16cm opening takes a full florist bunch as it comes. Aim for stems of around 40cm above the rim. At 28cm tall, it stands well on its own on a console or mantel.

It is also available as a shorter 21cm version in the same glass. The two together make a lovely pair.

100% glass, thick-walled and heavy, so the colour has depth and a full bunch will not tip it.

Amber to clear ombré, gradual over the full height. Vertical ribbing refracts the colour differently along each channel as you move around it.

Watertight and suitable for fresh flowers. The ombré sits slightly differently on each piece, and faint seams or tiny bubbles are natural in made glass.

Hand wash only, with warm soapy water and a bottle brush. For residue inside, swirl warm water with a spoonful of dry rice. Avoid sudden temperature changes, and lift it by the body rather than the rim, especially when full.

With fresh flowers, change the water every two days and re-cut the stems.

Place it where light passes through, such as a windowsill or beside a table lamp. Green foliage from faux flowers and greenery works better against amber than coloured blooms.

Pair it with the 21cm short vase, set slightly apart, on a woven tray. Amber sits beautifully with timber, brass and autumn tones.
