Will it fit? At 13cm across it is wider than most candles, so check the depth of a narrow mantel or shelf before ordering. Allow at least 30cm of clear space above it when lit.

Materials and scent

The vessel is stone and glass rather than thin pressed glass, giving the candle a reassuring weight, a steady footing on any surface and a presence worth keeping once the wax has gone.

Top: delicate florals, light and clean. Heart: the floral softens and rounds out. Base: creamy musk with a subtle sweetness, warm and quiet. Closer to fresh linen than a bouquet, and gentle enough for a bedroom or guest room.

Care and safe burning

On the first burn, let the wax melt right to the edge of the vessel before putting it out, which takes a few hours at this size. Trim the wick to about 5mm before every burn, and burn for no more than four hours at a time, away from draughts.

Never leave it burning unattended, and keep it away from children, animals, curtains and anything that can catch. Stand it on a heat resistant surface, allow at least 30cm of clear space above, and stop burning when around 10mm of wax remains. For indoor use only.

Styling and pairs well with

Give it the mantel, off to one side of a mirror, or let it bring calm to a bedside or guest room. On a coffee table, set it on a tray beside a low bowl and a little greenery.

How long does it burn for?

Approximately 60 to 70 hours. Trimming the wick before each burn and letting the first burn reach the edge will help you get the most from it.

Is it too strong for a bedroom?

No. The scent is clean and light rather than heavy, so it suits a bedroom or guest room without becoming overwhelming.

Is there a matching diffuser?

Yes. The same soft floral and creamy musk is available as a reed diffuser.

Does it come boxed for a gift?

Yes. It arrives in a fitted box and can be given exactly as it comes.
