Two full metres of softly limed elm, with a grain full of warmth and movement, finished with aged ring pulls. It gives a wall a long, calm line for lamps and leaning art, yet at only 44cm deep it never crowds the room. A large sideboard with three drawers and two double cupboards, delivered fully assembled.

Will it fit? 200cm is roughly the length of a three-seater sofa. Allow at least 210cm of clear wall. It arrives in one assembled piece, so check doorways and hallway turns before ordering.

The 88cm height makes a comfortable serving and working surface, and the 44cm depth keeps walkways clear in a hallway.

Materials and finish

Elm has a looser, more expressive grain than oak and a warmer tone. Here it has a softly limed finish, so a piece of this size never reads as a solid block.

Three drawers in the centre hold linen, cutlery and candles. Two double-door cupboards either side take serveware, glassware and everything you would rather keep out of sight. Aged ring pulls finish the look.

It arrives fully assembled, with no flat-pack compromise in the joinery.

Care and honest expectations

Dust along the grain with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly. Use coasters and mats under anything hot or wet, and avoid silicone polishes and all-purpose sprays. Keep it away from radiators, as dry heat is hard on solid timber.

Elm is a natural material, so grain and tone vary from piece to piece and deepen gently with age.

Styling and pairs well with

In a dining room it becomes a serving surface. In a living room it anchors a wall, and in a bedroom it makes a wide dressing surface. Frame it with a pair of table lamps, lean art or a large mirror above, and group ceramics at varying heights.

It suits coastal, modern country, farmhouse and modern organic interiors.

Does it need assembly?
No. It arrives fully assembled, ready to unwrap and position.
Is it too big for my room?
It needs a clear wall of at least 210cm, but at 44cm deep it takes up less floor space than most large sideboards.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Elm grain varies naturally, so yours will have its own pattern and tone. You can ask us for photos of current stock.
Can it be used as a TV unit?
Yes. The cupboards hide media equipment neatly, though at 88cm the screen will sit higher than on a low media unit.
